THE JOLLY KITCHEN

Jolly offers a casual fine dining kitchen starting at 8:00 PM.  It offers eclectic Western-European and American dishes along with some traditional Ethiopian dishes infused with American flavor.  These certain dishes bring a unique and unforgettable taste created by our renowned American chef William Alexis Morkunas during his time as a consultant at the Jolly Bar and Grill.    

When it comes to our kitchen, we craft all of our stocks, sauces, breads, and pastries from scratch on a daily basis. We also strive to support our local producers when purchasing wine, cheese, honey and many other ingredients.  We don’t have a large menu selection, but what we do have…we aim to create it with perfection.

Our food is sourced from top quality seasonal ingredients, featuring a high percentage of local and organic products.  Our menu may change every six to eight weeks, offering a mix of new and signature dishes.

Our philosophy is simple: Fresh. Organic. Local. Sustainable.  We source our ingredients whenever possible from local family farms, farmers’ markets and artisan producers who practice traditional, sustainable agriculture.  Then, using these fresh, local ingredients, our chef and cooks employ classic culinary techniques that preserve nutrition and maximize healthfulness. The result is a Jolly dining experience that is as wonderful for your palate as it is nourishing for your body and spirit.

DRESS CODE & RULES
DRESS CODE IS STRICTLY ENFORCED AT MANAGEMENT’S DISCRETION!
Jolly caters to everyone; however there are exceptions.  Dress Code and age limit are strictly enforced.  MUST BE 25 for Men and 21 for Women.  No slippers, no baggy jeans, no training shoes, no hoodies,Hats, Bandannas or do-rags!,Jerseys or jersey-like shirts, Excessively Baggy clothing, grills or sunglasses, bags or backpacks, shorts, no drama! 


FIGHTING IS NOT TOLERATED AT JOLLY AND ANYONE WHO ENGAGES IN UNNECESSARY ROUGHNESS CAN BE BANNED FROM JOLLY FOR UPTO 6 MONTHS WITH NO EXCEPTION.

You know the name of the game, let’s be adults!  Jolly usually tends to attract a discerning and influential group of people that enjoy the finer things in life; therefore, fighting and horse play like children are completely forbidden because they disrupt the Grown & Sexy.
 

TIMING
Because it's such a famous brand in the nightlife, Jolly gets horribly crowded sometimes.  We suggest early arrival at all times, especially weekends; however, make sure to follow the rules!

REASONABLY PRICED
When it comes to prices for example, expect to pay between 100 Birr (5 USD) for a shot of Johnnie Walker Black Label or Ciroc Vodka with your choice of a mixer.  Our prices are cheap compared to international standards but higher than most local places.  Venues that are similar to us charge the same prices  Cocktails may run from 90-200 birr (3 to 10 USD).

We always suggest bottle service in a crowded night to get the best seat and to enjoy first class service with your own waiting staff.  As you can see, we’re very reasonably priced for the services we provide.  In addition, food prices can range from 100-200 Birr (5 to 15 USD) from hand tossed classical pizzas to gourmet burgers to a plate of delicious chicken or beef sliders.

If you want to own the night, (and reserve table service) a bottle of Johnnie Walker Black can run you 2,900 Birr (140 USD) or a bottle of Grey Goose Vodka can run you 3,500 birr (170 USD).  Of course we have many other bottles available.  Feel free to email or call with questions about booking a table.

COVER CHARGES
Entrance is usually free Tuesday thru Thursday, including Sundays; however, if there is a special occasion including a band that’s playing and (i.e. New Years Eve, Christmas, and other notable holidays, there is an entrance fee at the door even during those days). 

Jolly charges a 100 birr entrance fee at the door (about 4 USD) per person on regular Friday and Saturday nights unless patrons have VIP easy access pass. 

Women are always free until midnight granted they meet dress code and age limit guidelines.  After midnight however, women are also charged at the door. 

OPENING AND CLOSING HOURS

Jolly is closed on Mondays.  
Hours are between 8:00 PM and 2:00 AM.
